Visa

All international students studying at Shanghai Jiao Tong University are required to have a valid student visa and must comply with Chinese laws and related visa policies during their period of study.

Health Insurance

Students studying at SJTU/GC are required to provide proof of insurance by the time they enroll. The insurance may be provided or purchased by their home universities in their home countries and must cover health, death, personal accident, and repatriation. It must be valid for the entire duration of the term at SJTU/GC.

By regulation, students without valid insurance or who fail to present proof at registration will be required to purchase the Group Comprehensive Insurance.
• Group Comprehensive Insurance (Premium Version): CNY 800.00/year or CNY 400.00/six months. Students can purchase it during registration.
